The Light

Lately i've been seeing things.. and i guess its the lack of sleep or sumffin.. but anyway.. my illusions are seemingly true.. and its bothering me for awhile until i decided(ya after looking at it for so long..) to record it on video.

this happen at the block directly infront of my home..
wats odd is that.. this 'light' has its own pattern..
it maybe a bulb.. but i can't be sure until i find out..

Doing Some EVP work.

i had the day off and decided to clean up my room abit.
and i stumble upon my old radio.

still looking good after a little clean up.

and a VCR recorder.


lucky for me, my dad didn't want the living room TV, so i shift it to my room.

reasons for this is that,
i remember reading a book abt 'EVP' Electronic Voice Phenomenon
and recently i took up 1/2 hr a day to study up on different methods to obtain them.
But i also know the risk in doing this, as study shows that 1 out of 12 EVPs are menacing in nature.

With these equipments, i can see(VCR+TV) & hear them (all 3)

i'm beginning trials now with my radio, while i'm gonna get some raw tapes for the VCR recording =).

My EVP session starts 8pm to 11.30pm(its not that night time is best, as EVP doesnt have a fix schedule)
hopefully i can get to interact with my frens from the other side..

and below is one of the episode that won an award



I dunno how real this is, but anything from a TV to me is just another edited gimmick...
but without proof i can't say much and disprove this =3

another brother or sister that can translate this would be nice

The Infamous Footage of what i believe that they call it a 'Tree Ghost'
there were a spark of critics abt this particular indonesian group, that flim this documentary footage. i've seen the full length of it, but it still looks like plastic and rubber mask to me, i even had a good fren of mine to translate it to me(poor soul was scared to watch it too)

Any comments?

My Experience

We've always wondered if there are really spirits around us, day or night time.. do they exist?

questions circulated among many individuals varies.. as there will always be skeptics who believe that there's no such thing, but just some gust of wind or something science can explain clearly.

but there are still some that science have no answer to.. and there are incidents of skeptics turning into believers(i'm one of them..)

Just to share my experience on what made me started to believe that there was indeed something there that wanted its presences known..

All started with my old home at Commonwealth cresent.
Its a very quiet area as it is 80% occupied by elders, and almost at least 2 elders past away per month in that area.. as i've always seen funeral tents setup under my block a few times whenever i come back from school...

i can still recall the first sound i heard during the night or late afternoon when i'm alone at home(i'm alone most of the time as i'm the only child), the sound of marbles dropping above me, like a kid is playing and chairs being dragged across a wooden floor making the most distinctive screek. This kept going on for years, and i've never been bothered about it, until when i was more mature and started getting curious as to what could had made that noise.

Common sense says its just ppl upstairs, but still.. in the middle of the night around 2am? playing marbles? seriously this kid must be a professional marble player to be so addicted to marbles.
I asked my dad a few times to see if he hears this as well, but of cuz as a parent he didnt wanna scare me that time, and dismissed it as just ppl upstairs moving around..

but i didnt buy that explaination, so i went up stairs one day after school, and to my suprise, there wasnt even anyone living up there, wats more suprising is that 3 of the apartments are not occupied, and their doors and gate had flyers of advertisments dated back till 1993, and that really shocked me, i tried looking through the window and its totally empty in there, there are no doors for both room(3 room flat) u can actually see into one of the rooms and the windows in that room is shut.

I had this old couple living next door, the man used to be a construction worker for HDB & is very frenly with me and my dad, and i thought he is the right guy to ask about this 'Marble Dropping" mystery.
this is what he told me

"In the old times, during the constuction of the building, construction workers would put marble inbetween each level for the ghost to play with , so the ghost would not disturb the people living there."

Now, the moment he mentioned Ghost, i clearly felt my hair on my back standing.. so i told him about my encounter, and he told me just ignore it and it wont bother you, and its best to leave it alone as its just bored and wanted to play the marbles..

Mr Soeh passed away on 1999 may 25th he was 89 than.
his wife went on 2005 july 4th aged 82.

in 2006 i moved away...

And i've recently heard from my other neighbour that the family who bought the house from us, actually moved out after living there for 2 years.. the reason was that they had 'weird feelings'.. i guess thats also why my dad wanted us to move after almost 18 years..


I've also met up with a neighbourhood fren of mine(samuel), he told me that the entire stretch of the neighbourhood are seeing shadow people around the back of the blocks.

Current Situation

So far during my low budget investigation, i'm just using a lonely digi camera.

i can't get quality photo's or should i say, concrete proof of wat may or may not be there.
hence, i'm looking forward to buying a few equipments for ghost hunting
(trust me, ghost hunting isnt a cheap hobby =3)

but mean time, i'll just keep a diary of my actions in this blog.
for places i've looked at and actually had a walk around to look at the place.
As u have to know that, hunter's have their day jobs & they need to find the time to actually go down to the location to investigate.

mean time, just enjoy my reviews on location or videos flying around the web.

Burial Of Lost Souls

FOR more than half a century, the remains of 34,000 people lay buried beneath this hill in Yishun. The landslide, caused by persistent heavy rains, revealed a row of burial urns. Most are shattered or have been damaged in some way.
Unnamed and with no one to mourn their passing, they lay in their resting place until a small landslide earlier this year uncovered a number of earthenware urns.

The hill is near Block 299, at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Ring Road.
Not many residents living there know about it. There are no headstones and no visitors.

"Ever since this incident happened, I've visited the location 3 times, but during every visit i don't really feel anything odd or creepy, but i feel the sadness for these souls that were buried here, with no names to remember them by & no families to claim them, its not really a pleasant investigation. i've taken at least 50 photos, but all i see are small orbs, nothing really worth showing. As for what i felt there, its just sadness thats all i felt.."

ParaIsland Singapore

Greetings,

I'm NiL, and i've started the ParaIsland Singapore on Dec 4th 2008.

Reasons why i started this is because i've seen things and heard them as well.. but i always end up running from it.. so its time to stop running.. and face these fears.

My goal?

To find Haunted locations in our tiny island, and the story behind the hauntings.
Not only trying to find if there's anything going on there, but also to proof that the location isn't haunted, as we know how our human minds can play tricks on us.

Many of my friends tell me why not just join up with SPI?

i respect SPI & their work in the Paranormal, but i wish to do this in my own approach. =)

What to expect from PI-SG?

Well here's the thing, i've seen countless post of photos/videos all over the world on ghost/demons/orbs/EVPs..

but they aren't what i call 'Legit' for some(majority), as you probably know abt how high tech people are these days & their photoshop images & video editing softwares.

What really gets me is that with such a great array of technological goodies, we can't get a solid image of what our naked eyes saw or hear.

So it brings me to founding PI-SG to bring viewers my hands-on experience
with photo/video/audio on the paranormal.

I wish to apply as a investigator in PI-SG.

Currently its just me, i've gone around searching for locations for quite sometime now, and i've yet to capture any image/video/audio which i find that is worth showing.

but if you are keen to join up with me.
you may post abt yourself in the forum(found in abt me).
